The next "bad" breed?
Q. Not too long ago, I asked a question about what people thought the next "bad" dog breed would be after the media spotlight was taken off the pit bull. I got many good answers, but none that matched my opinion. My opinion is that it will be any or all of the molosser breed group which includes the dogo argentino, cane corso, fila brasileiro, presa canario, boerboel, neopolitan mastiff... Since I posted that question, a news story popped up in my local newspaper that desribed a pit bull/mastiff mix going "berserk" and killing a yorkie that was sitting in its owners lap on the terrace of a bar that allowed dogs. Mastiffs are LARGE dogs who are not stealthy. It's hard to think they would be used for fighting over another smaller, more agile breed that creep idiots could pump full of steroids and be… [cont.]
